Brief:
The Flavour Trail by Swani is a brainchild of the Swani Group, founded in 1864. Their range of organic spices, seeds and blends are pesticide-free, sustainably farmed, hygienically processed and steam sterilised to meet the global food safety regulations. With this new brand, the parent company wanted to step into the retail business for the first time. They wanted their brand to look premium and distinctive from the other brands. The look had to be striking, creative and engaging.
Creative Solution:
Given the rich legacy of the parent brand, the logo was designed in a semi vintage style. The flavour trail was depicted with an intricate illustration. The illustration tells a story of the fresh produce from the farm to folk and everything in between. The concept and the layout of the design was the biggest differentiating factor to make the pack stand out from it's competitors. The pictures of the spice mix in a clean white bowl indicates purity. The crisp images of the dish made it mouthwatering. The black background makes the design, product name and the pictures stand out making it hard to miss on the shelf.
